To learn more about Haars Nursery, please visit www.haarsnursery.com.au.About the roleWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our small, dedicated maintenance team. You will provide general trades and maintenance support across all aspects of our nursery operation to ensure all equipment remains in safe, good working order. No two days will be the same. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Service, repair and maintain a range of agricultural equipment, including automated planting machinery and robotics, conveyors, pumps and more.
Identify and address hazards to ensure a safe working environment
Working through assigned preventative maintenance tasks
Act quickly to resolve equipment breakdowns and minimise downtime.
Working indoors and outdoors.
Flexible work arrangements available, choose your preferred four days, with Wednesdays being a mandatory workday.
About you
Trade Qualified Maintenance fitter
CMMS experience
Demonstrable troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Intermediate computer skills
Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience an advantage
Small motor experience advantageous
FL licence advantageous.
Restricted electrical qualifications also advantageous.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be physically fit
Must have a current driver's licence.
