About The Opportunity
Programmed’s Facility Management department is currently seeking a Maintenance Handyperson to join our team at Melbourne Airport. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that provides preventative and general maintenance across the Melbourne Airport site. In this role, you will be responsible for the completion of preventative & general maintenance through find and fix inspections.
Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Melbourne Airport 
Reporting line: Trade Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

Conduct any trade work and preventative maintenance around the facility
Assist with any minor repairs such as door repairs, basic tiling, patching and painting walls, footpath and potholes repairs  
Use of hand tools, machines, or power saws as required
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe environment

 
About You
To join our team, ideally you will have previous experience within the maintenance industries with a passion to provide quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others. Additionally, you will have.

Current driver’s license
Work in high security areas around Melbourne Airport facilities
Demonstrate a professional approach
Execute work that is of a high standard
