About the Opportunity
Our ISO accredited machine shop based in Newcastle specialises in the design, manufacture and repair of hydraulic cylinders and manifolds suitable for a wide range of applications. We are currently looking for a Manual Machinist to grow the team.

Your tasks

Operating modern manual lathes.
Ability to achieve tight tolerances
Ability to interpret engineering drawings
Attend toolbox talks
Perform work safely and comply with WHS procedures.

 
About You

Relevant Trade Qualifications
Previous experience in manual and production machining and in machining large items
Proficient in external and internal thread cutting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills who takes pride in training others
Ability to work well within a team, autonomously and unsupervised.
