Programmed Industrial Maintenance is currently seeking Expressions of Interest for Casual Mechanical Fitters to join our maintenance team for upcoming shutdowns & ADHOC opportunities.
Successful applicants will have previous mine site or refinery experience, with a strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to safety.
Currently we are actively seeking Mechanical Fitters for the below:
COVALENT LITHIUM PLANT

Site: Covalent Lithium Plant - Kwinana (DIDO)

Duration:

03/09/2024 for 4-8 weeks (possible extension)

Hours:  10 hour shifts | Dayshift | Mon to Thurs, Tues to Fri

GENESIS MINING LIMITED - MT MORGAN BACKFILL SWING

Site: Genesis Mining Limited - Mt Morgan (FIFO)

Duration:

03/09/2024 for 4 weeks (possible extension)

Hours:  12 hour shifts | Dayshift | 8:6 Roster

BHP KWINANA NICKEL REFINERY SHUTDOWN

Site: BHP Kwinana Nickel Refinery (DIDO)
Duration:

05/09/2024 – 29/09/2024

Hours: 12 hour shifts | Dayshift & Nightshift Available
Must be available for the full duration (Preferred)

BHP MT KEITH BACKFILL COVERAGE

Site: BHP Mt Keith (FIFO)
Duration:

05/09/2024 – 11/09/2024

Hours:  12 hour shifts | Dayshift Available

TRONOX KEMERTON SHUTDOWN

Site: Tronox Kemerton (DIDO)
Duration:

10/09/2024 – 19/09/2024

Hours: 12 hour shifts | Dayshift & Nightshift Available
Operate Breathing Apparatus Certificate (Preferred) or willing to complete training
Accommodation provided

ST IVES SHUTDOWN

Site: St Ives – Goldfields (FIFO)
Duration:

23/09/2024 – 30/09/2024

Hours:  12 hour shifts | Dayshift & Nightshift Available

Skills and Experience

Australian Trade Certificate
Nationally Accredited Confined Space
Nationally Accredited Working at Heights
High risk licenses (highly regarded)
Construction White Card
National Police Clearance (highly regarded)
Previous mining and/or shutdown experience (highly regarded)
Demonstrated commitment to safety
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen

*Please note: each site has it's own specific requirements which will be discussed during onboarding
