The Role
Kestrel is currently recruiting a 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice to join our Host Employer’s business They are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in developing a career in the painting and decorating industry who they can train from the ground up where you will work on both new builds and house renovations.
The successful candidate will be trained up in various areas of painting and decorating including:

Surface preparation including sanding, patching and priming
Surface protection
Paint application using various methods
Interpreting plans
Maintaining and decorating surfaces
Operating and maintaining painting tools and equipment
Colour matching

As an Apprentice Painter, you will receive both on and off the job training working towards CPC30611 Certificate III Painting and Decorating which will see you employed directly by Kestrel through to completion.

About You

Completion of a work placement within painting or a related trade
Able to commit to a four year apprenticeship
White card prior to commencement
